We may have a daughter pretty soon!!

I woke up on Sunday August 9th 2009 to an email from Veronica, an adoption coordinator from Lifetime. She forwarded me an email from a wonderful young lady that is considering adoption for her 1year old daughter. As I read this email my eyes filled with tears...could this be the little girl that we have been waiting for?
Here it is five days later and I feel so close to this young woman that I have never met and my hearts beats fast and swells with love when I think about this little girl. We have talked back and forth through email and I can't wait to actually talk to her over the phone and maybe even hear my "could be" daughter sweet little voice.
Hopefully the next post will be about us leaving to pick up our daughter! Fingers Crossed:)

No news.

Well, we have not heard anything. It will be 18mths of waiting here pretty soon and we have had only one Bmom from Lifetime show any interrest in our family. I'm kinda sad:( I was hoping that my kids would be close in age but My oldest is five now and my youngest will be FOUR years old in three days!

On a good note I got hubby to take a new profile picture! I like it...I hope it catches someone special's eyes:)

Happy Birthday!

I am a couple of days late posting this but I did want to say Happy 5th Birthday to our baby girl, Macie. Her Birthday was the 21st. It is hard to not be there for her birthday but we did celebrate it! The boys and I baked her a Pretty Pink Princess cake:) I know she would have been thrilled! We love you, Macie...more than words could ever express.
